Was wondering if anyone on here had built or seen, has pictures of a 2-bottom plow for a cub or equivelant. Looking at building one of my own and have another guy that wants me to build one for him out of two 10inch brinly's next fall. Looking at which style of plow setup would be best for our cubs (semi mounted 3pt, just straight 3pt, pull behind etc). Inputs appreciated Thanks.

Thanks guys its helping the ideas. Going to make it out of two 6inches first. Thinking on just a straight 3pt mount. Do ya think i would need any adjustments on the plow itself like a brinly or would the 3 pt have all the adjsutment it would need?

I think you're going the right way with a fully mounted - every pound of weight on the back tires will help you, and that's something that a pull behind plow wouldn't provide. A semi mounted might do alright, though. I would expect all of your draft control would have to be in the top link of the 3pt. A gauge wheel might help with the draft control. Looking forward to this - when you accomplish this awesome task, give us a video!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
