The head I have for the k301 has recessed holes that's why I was wondering, didn't want to buy the spacers to be able to mount the gas tank. One more question, I was only able to find a aluminum pan so do I absolutely need to put steel threaded inserts in it or will it be fine if the current threads are in good shape ?
