How far gone, is too far gone?
Hey fellas. Thanks for welcoming me back in my last post. It is good to hear from you guys, too. I have a 1X8/9 and an 82 series fender pans sitting on my porch. The 1x8/9 have a badly rusted battery box and the 82 series are banged up pretty bad. I cannot bring myself to scrap them, even though I pulled them from my garage to the front porch with some other scrap iron that I haven't taken yet. A voice inside of me keeps saying, "You know they aren't making this stuff any more!" and I just cannot part with them. I am not a welder, but I know others can fix this stuff. Think maybe I will just take these to the next show and find someone who wants them. It's not like they are worth much of anything in scrap anyway. Anyone else wrestle with this issue, too?
