Hydraulic valves mount up different, but the lines can be changed. Can still have dual or even triple on the column. You know that.

I think the 82 dash could easily be modified wit tilt wheel..... but honestly I don't think it's a big deal, the tilt. I fit comfortably on an 82 without it. I've driven the 1864's, and pretty much had the wheel where it would be on an 82. But that's just my preference.
