Those are really neat machines! I would've done the same thing... loaded them up!
I had a really nice 60 as a kid.. It had the forward and reverse pedals and man it would pop some wheelies!!
Dad took the deck out from under it and changed the front sprocket to gear it up some.. It was basically my first go cart.. we called it the Mow cart!!
Man I wish I still had it.. The stupid little thing was actually built quite well and was tough as nails! Fortunately it has both optional front a rear bumpers.. I never did manage to crack the body!
