I agree with what Beth & Jon have said.
Yes, you should have it bored and all the other good stuff.....
If you break into an Onan you best plan on spending some coin.
You will probably need new pistons, rings, rods, cam bearings, probably crank bearings, have the crank turned, all gaskets and then have it bored to do it properly. That will probably set you back near $1k.
Or say WTF and throw a set of $60 rings in it to see if it runs. Ya, it might be half a$$ed but if it runs okay then maybe you can plan on a full rebuild.
$1k is still cheaper than buying a new Kohler, Vanguard or Hazard Freight Predator engine.
