Wow, sure is a lot of love all of a sudden for a Quietline!! Yes, I guess I am a little spoiled living in the Mid-Atlantic region where we are in prime Cub Country. I have always done well in PA, most of my good finds have come from there. I am trying to treat my yellow fever by not buying EVERYTHING I go to look at... and yes, the 1450 IS in pretty good shape overall; it really cleaned up well after a bath and some wiping down!
I pulled the 38" deck and tried to put a 50A on it, but realized that I need the proper mule drive for an A-series deck. I'll deal with that later, it can run the 38" for now (although it does look odd) or I have that older 48" QA that came with the 125... it might look stranger yet with the gauge wheels and old-style deck runners.
Don't get me wrong - it's a good find so far - I've seen them a lot better and a whole lot worse!!
