They work pretty well. We've had an Omni 105 for a couple decades. I've found that if I take it outdoors and light it out there, let it get good and warmed up that when I bring it in it doesn't stink. When it does get to smelling it isn't hot enough and either needs fuel or turned up. Take it outside to shut off, too.
