So I have a 1641 that I bought in the fall, and its been sitting over the winter. I had the battery in the shop because it got cold and killed the battery on a few other things, so I pulled them all out and moved a trickle charger around on them for the last few months.
I grabbed the battery and slapped it in to move it the other day, click. checked stuff, click. pto light coming on when hitting key. no pto on the motor, switch off. checked solenoid, not lighting up test light, so I pulled a solenoid off another parts 1641, put it on, click. wth? grab another battery, fires right up! battery went bad in the last 2 weeks.
