I recently picked up a very nice hydro drive 1620 with 46" cut for my Mother. Briggs twin 16 has plenty of power.

But everyone seems to have a good notion as the garden tractors will come by easier, and are heavy duty in comparison to the Cadets. Though, IH did make a few attachments for the Cadets, one being a snow plow!

Heck, my friend just picked up an unbelievable nice condition Simplicity 7112 for 150$ for the sake of garden tractors!
