Update time. I didn't like the fact that the China carbs appeared to have the wrong choke lever, and I found some bad reviews on them. So I rolled the dice on a $30 used adjustable jet carb off Ebay. Its been here for 2 months, just haven't had time to do anything with it. Opened it up today, used steel wool to remove old fuel residue, carb cleaner and air hosed it clean. Put it back together with the same needle and gaskets. Darn thing runs perfect. Opened both screw about 1.25 revolutions. Probably opened the main about twice that before it ran smooth and didn't surge/labor. Then tweaked the idle. I swear this is one of the better running Cadets I have. Still need to order a fuel pump (winter job). Used the Cadet to spray about 5-10 gallons of Roundup this afternoon. Absolutely amazing how good this thing is running. More to spray tomorrow. Best part is my better half did the driving for me so I could handle the spraying---and she approves of the Cadet!
