Weird cut
I've been using an XTL1050 with a kohler engine for about 7 years now. I've never liked the way it mows. I sharpen my blades twice a mowing season, once int the late spring and once end of summer. I use two different sets of blade as I have some dedicated for the beggar that I only use in the early spring and fall.
Making a cut typically is only about 1/2 of the deck and the depth is about an inch to an inch and a half. The lever on the mower never is set to below the third stop from the top. I mow back and forth so the cut repeats in a different direction.
I get a seam of grass in the middle about two thirds higher then edge. I know the blades are installed correctly. The deck is attached correctly. Tire pressure is consistent on all 4 wheels.
