You engine is likely vapor locking. Do you have the heat shield in place behind the engine?

When the engine stalls, remove the gas cap and pressurize the fuel tank for about 30 seconds and see if the tractor will start back up right away.

I have to run my Kohler Command and Vanguards with the side panel removed on the fuel pump side to prevent this. I also do not have the heat shields behind the engine installed and I believe this contributes to exhaust heat recirculating around the fuel pump.
