I traded in a snowmobile about 10 years ago on a new quad, dealer resold it, low and behold a year or so later its on ebay, 'owned since new, never damaged, always hauled in an enclosed trailer'. It had custom paintwork and accessories so I was sure it was mine. Anyway I had rolled that sled on ice once, and at that time I didn't even own an enclosed trailer, so it was always in the salt on the road.
I thought about saying something but it wasn't going to change anything.
