Default LED tail light

After trying many Bulb/LED on my Quietline, I finally found a good setup keeping the original red lens (Bargman 378)
and using Peterson bases (V2546R)

First: One thing we have to keep in mind :

If you use 6000k white LED, you end up with light red, almost pink tail light. To get better results, you need 3000K RED LED with the maximum SMD possible on that bulb. Sound good to me but wait I found better...And they are red one!

Since Peterson base use 4.62w 193 bulb I need to found something more powerful without been concern about how many mW such a small LED may need and the result is just amazing.

Don't be fooled by their tiny size, the back heatsink is not there for the show, they are powerful and need only 2W each! With the set of front LED headlight
(18W each) my QL use only a total of 40W/3.3A from the 120W/10A allowed by the fused circuit! This left enough reserve to power few more on a winter cab :-)
