Been working on this retaining wall for the past few weeks. Things take me a while as I work alone. Took a cut out of this hillside with my backhoe and dozer. Built the form for the footing, 20 “ thick, 7 feet wide, 50 feet long. Placed and tied all the rebar. #8 horizontal bars at 12” o. c. #7 vertical bars at 12” o. c. #4 cross bars at 12” o. c. Poured the footing yesterday morning, had one of my boys come and help for that. 24 yards, 4000 psi, ¾” stone, slump rate of 4.
