My first Cub pictures
 

Just got home with my first Cub, a 123 .... I'm pleased as can be and can't wait to start fixing up this fine old machine.

Ah.....my first cub was a 123 also, perhaps the finest of all of the cubs and with a very interesting history attached to it!!! The lights are certainly an added bonus and your 123 looks to have been taken care of quite well. Great pics, thanks for sharing!!!:beerchug:

Thanks for the kind words on my first Cub. I'm pretty sure the Kohler is a replacement, but apart from being black looks like it belongs in there. There's a data plate on it I'll try and photograph tomorrow . I'm assuming if it has a silver foil tag on the engine, it's indicative of a replacement.

There's some things to fix on it, but hey , it's a 40+ year old tractor, and working on it will be much of the fun.

The seller had it advertised cleverly... " Own a piece of lawn mowing history..."
