rtz 50 electrical issue sv720-0012

I have a trz 50 with kohler courage 22 hp twin sv720-0012 engine. It won't crank. I have replaced the starter, key switch and starter solenoid and have tested all safety switches. I have also tested the switch that engages the blades. All test fine. I can touch a screwdriver to the two large lugs on the bottom of the solenoid and it will turn over. I'm not getting fire to the hot side of the solenoid (4 pole). I have ordered a new wiring harness for the mower and one for the engine.
Secondly, before this issue, it has been really hard to turn over...I'm thinking ACR on the plasic cam is messed up.

Any ideas??

thanks

I replaced the wiring harness and all safety switches. Also replaced the solenoid and pto switch. I know, overkill....but it works now.

Now...second issue....PTO is slipping where the V shape is supposed to provide a 'stop' on the upper part of the clutch. The bracket from the frame looks good, but the top portion of the clutch has a slight 'wobble' and it lets it slip off the stop and the whole unit spins...ripping off the pigtail wire to the harness. I cannot tell if I need to replace the PTO or if there is supposed to be a stop under there that is missing or broken off. Unit is 2006.

All input is appreciated

thanks

todd
