I just had a very good experience with smallenginesuppliers.com. They are located in Lees Summit, Mo. I ordered a new crankshaft for a 16 hp Vanguard yesterday to replace a tapered shaft in an engine I plan to put in one of my Cubs. The order was placed yesterday just before noon and the shaft was delivered to my home in Ft. Worth at 6:00 p.m. tonight. Briggs and Stratton advertised the price at a little over $300 and most of the dealers I found online and near my home wanted $275 plus tax and shipping where applicable. My shaft was $238 plus $15 shipping. Maybe my experience will help someone else.
