Pincor generator

My buddy just got a working pincor generator setup for a wide frame as part of a trade he did, he would like to sell it to me but doesn't know what it's worth and honestly I don't either. So what's a working pincor worth these days?

I've seen $300-$500 around my parts, depending on condition (brackets, paint, working gauge, right pulley for the application, etc).

I never test one of those to see the quality of the sine wave they produce and since those are technology of the past without AVR or inverter tech in it, they are just good to power stuff with no sensible electronic in them like light , stove, etc. etc.... I put $500 in a good generator instead but you don't purchase this piece of history for his utility so the price can be pointless in this case.

Pay enough to keep your friendship! Now how much is enough?:HeadScratch:

He offered it to me for $200 but he's planning to build a new tree stand and would like to keep it until he's done building it. Thanks for the opinions.

I'm not even looking for one but if someone offered me a functional Pincor with mount and everything needed to work for $200, I'd jump on that faster a two for one at the local pub! :biggrin2:

I told him I'd take it but at the pace he works he likely won't have his tree stand done till November.

$200 sound pretty fair to me if it's a 3KW unit :beerchug:
