From growing up on a farm, I am grateful that my Dad taught me how to back up a Trailer or a Wagon. Kids today need this technology.:RollEyes2:

Same here...Dad insisted we learn to drive manual transmissions and back not only the vehicle, but a trailer too! We had to back up using only the mirrors. My one sister has her CDL and was a truck driver. Back up technology is nice but I rarely use it.

Me too.. and both my sisters.. we had to be proficient at using a clutch and learn how to back a trailer before we could get our permits:beerchug: Might fix some of these kids today if they had to grow up and work on a farm?:bigthink:

This is 3/4 of the people that come to the shop to drop off or pick up their tractor, some people are so bad I swear they're doing it on purpose. I've literally had to tell people to get out of their truck so I could get in and get their trailer turned around. I guess it all has alot to do with your environment growing up, most city people can hardly drive so I'm not surprised they can't back a trailer.

Yeah, the forum I got this from, they were talking like it's great technology, "should of had this a long time ago..."
One said something like, it would be great, then I wouldn't have to strain my neck trying to turn my head to back up a trailer...
I broke my neck, and can't turn my head even if I wanted to that far. Isn't that's what mirrors are for!:beerchug:
I was taught very young to back up a trailer with a truck, and a wagon with a tractor, so backing up anything is pretty easy to me.:beerchug:

Backing up a trailer is easy,
backing up a 10 ton gravity wagon is a little more difficult,
Backing up 2 hitched together, is like pushing a chain uphill.:biggrin2:

Backing up trailers is easy. Wagons with four wheels is what I call being able to back something up.
