Got the Bronco "finished", so put the first battery in it, and took a tour around the house this evening.:beerchug:
The added weight up front on the axle makes a WORLD of difference keeping the tires planted... https://s33.postimg.cc/dxne219dr/IMG_2241.jpg https://s33.postimg.cc/rfuaeaiy7/IMG_2246.jpg https://s33.postimg.cc/kqnqyjd4f/IMG_2244.jpg https://s33.postimg.cc/4gxkvos6n/IMG_2250.jpg https://s33.postimg.cc/ialxkvi8v/IMG_2249.jpgscreenshot program |
Cooooool! Your RC version brings back memories. I had a stock 79 Bronco Ranger XLT in high school. My buddies and I would take the back roof off and just cruise.

Looks awesome, Todd!:beerchug:

ordered an exceed mad torque 1/8 scale this week. shows it will be here monday. anyone mess with them? I've only had one other rc car, and it was a long time ago. figured since I don't get to wheel my scout much, I'd get a crawler and play some.
heres a link to what I grabbed. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/92...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |
Ran across this on FB.
https://www.facebook.com/ATDrones/videos/ They say flying a helicopter is difficult, after watching this one I'd have to agree https://www.facebook.com/ATDrones/vi...3091309797877/ |
I might buy a Losi 1/5th scale 35cc 2 stroke Baja Truck from my buddy who's gotten into RC boats now. That thing is wicked fast and huge.
It's like this one but it has 10cc larger engine with about 2-3 more hp. https://youtu.be/yr2C4oR-9s8?t=29 |
More Government Regs
So I decided to post this here since most wont read it anyway
Our wonderful government has decided since drones are such a menace, there needs to be rules about airspace. That means any unmanned aerial vehicle. So the law says essentially that nothing can fly over 400ft high. Anywhere. Not even if you are in a rural area far from an airport. So at my personal landing strip I can’t go over 400ft high. So you might say so what? Most of my planes are IMAC style aerobatic planes that fly over 100mph. That means if I start a vertical maneuver at 50ft high, I will only be able to fly a vertical line for like two seconds. It will ruin IMAC and soaring competition. Thank you morons with drones! There was pressure from the big retailers (Amazon and such) for clearing up the airspace for their delivery drones. So that had some to do with it. Model aircraft have been around since there has been full size planes. So instead of punishing drone people, punish all RC. Much like gun control, a few idiots make us all pay. I know most of you don’t care about this but just look how something as harmless as RC planes have been regulated. Think about it. We aren’t free anymore Rant over |
