Thought I would post up some pics of my homemade 3 point hitch. All I need is to fab up some lower lift arms. The ones on here are just temporary to see if the length will be ok. I'm not concerned whether or not it will fit any factory implements,I plan on building my own stuff as to what I want. Here's a homemade caryall I've almost completed. Just some eurathane and paint is left.

That is a good looking 1812. Good work on the 3 point.

Looks good to me! And...hey...it beats using a wheelbarrow!:beer2:

Thanks guys. That's for my 80 year old mom. Still uses a wheelbarrow to haul firewood. I bet she'll still use it but I tried.

How about some close ups of the hitch?
If your going to go to the trouble of making a 3pt, it only makes sense to build the attachments to the correct spec. It's not big deal since you're building them from scratch. Not making it to spec is like building a trailer that only hooks to your own truck. Just doesn't make sense. If you need the spec for the width and height of the hitch along with proper pin size, here it is. I suggest a vertical pin height of around 12"-16". Maybe someone can tell you what some of the manufactured attachments are. Attachment 85734 |

I'm pretty close to those specs. I still haven't fabbed up lower lift arms. Just mocked these up to see where I'll connect upper lift arms. Here's some closups

Here's finished product of the caryall. Next I'm going to build a frame to hold a 12 gallon tank for an electric sprayer for the yard and garden.
